Get Involved: Employer Partner Program

What could a commuter program mean for you?

Save tax dollars
Commuter tax benefits are an easy way for employees and employers to save money. By offering financial incentives to your employees to ride transit or to vanpool rather than drive alone, you save on payroll taxes and your employees save on federal income taxes – and we all breathe a little easier.

Reduce parking and office space costs
Telecommuting and alternative work schedule programs offer many space-saving opportunities. Plus, employees are more productive and less stressed when they don’t battle traffic congestion twice a day.

Promote your company
Good corporate citizenship provides opportunities for public recognition through media coverage and the Clean Air Partnership’s promotion of your good work.

Increase productivity and morale; decrease absenteeism
Many studies show that employer-sponsored commuter programs improve employee morale, teamwork and productivity levels. Workers with less stress are also absent less often.

To start, CAP will work with you on the simple activities your business can do to set up a commuter program. Once your program is established, we will continue to work with you to build on your program and make it as effective as possible.
