Air Quality 101 Workshops
Come learn the basics about air quality in Middle TN including the types of air pollution we experience, simple ways to improve it, what to do on Air Alert Days, and more! Four sessions are currently scheduled. The dates and times are listed below. The workshops are free and open to CAP partners, their employees and the general public. Tennessee Recycling Coalition Mid-Year Meeting

Greenway Ecology Workshop
The workshop, led by Tennessee Environmental Council Executive Director John McFadden (PhD) and Landscape Architect Kevin Guenther of Design Resource (www.designresourcegp.com), is ideal for local park and greenway managers and greenway design consultants. The course will include both lecture/discussion and hands on components and will cover some basic ecological concepts, ecological assessment of greenways and how to make practical and cost effective aesthetic and ecological improvements. Tennessee Pollution Prevention Conference
The Tennessee Pollution Prevention Partnership (TP3) is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this September and the TP3 members are hard at work planning for the fifth biennial statewide conference. The general theme for this year’s conference will be the relationships between good business and living practices with sustainability and pollution prevention ideals.
Topics include:
- Renew-Reuse-Conserve; Living Lightly on the Earth
- The New Green Economy and Sustainable Business
- Changing to Meet New Challenges
